Over the past several months, I have been asked by Mike Paetzold to help him conduct his free monthly Q & A call for his subscribers to answer questions that they may have about blogging.
This call is not a “sales” call — it is focused on answering questions about blogging. And Mike doesn’t hold back anything during this call.
But what I want people to know is that this is a perfect example of just one application of amplification marketing.
This single phone call allows Mike to:
1. Connect with his subscribers in way well beyond just simple email or a static web page.
2. It helps him establish his “expertise” about blogging.
3. It demonstrates that he is willing to help people meet their goals when it comes to blogging — whether they buy his products or not.
In other words…
This single Q & A phone call is a way for Mike to “amplify” his presence on the Internet as a credible and helpful information resource when it comes to blogging.
By doing this, he is able to more readily “connect” with prospects and potential customers. He is able to develop trust in a way that is difficult at best from a single, static sales page.
And this is just one example of amplification marketing.
Cheers,
Steve Roye
